The Department of Physical Education to instill the spirit of sportsmanship in technical students, to help them learn discipline, leadership quality, team work and also encourage them to participate in Sports & Games, in order to lead a healthy life. The Department of Physical Education is well equipped with all facilities, to enable the students to practice and participate in all the games and sports events indoor as well as outdoor.

Our college encourages students who join under sports quota by providing full free education with free boarding and lodging for 15 students every year.

In order to develop sports activities, we conduct as an annual feature Kongu trophy state level Inter-collegiate tournament in ten disciplines for both men and women. We organizes coaching camps for Badminton, Basketball, Tennis, Table-Tennis, Volleyball, Football, Hockey, Kabaddi and Athletic teams of our institution every year.
